Completed in 1935, Encanto holds the distinction of being the third
oldest golf course in Arizona. Encanto is ideally suited for the average
golfer. Its level fairways are wide and it has a limited number of
hazards. It sports a relaxed atmosphere enhanced by the course's abundance
of mature palm and salt cedar trees, plus some truly spectacular views
of downtown Phoenix. Amenities include driving range and practice
green.
Tournaments
Encanto Golf Course hosts a variety of tournaments. Booking is recommended
a year in advance for weekend dates, and all requests for tournaments

Youth Golf Classes
PGA professionals teach golf to area youth, ages eight to 17,
in year-round low cost classes which typically last about a month. To register,
individuals should sign up at the golf course. Golf classes are halted
in October to accommodate reseeding of the practice tees with winter

facility, featuring apparel, shoes, clubs, bags, golf accessories
and amenities for men, women and junior golfers.
