Valley car enthusiasts can take a step back in time when Phoenix’s Heritage & Science Park hosts the “Motoring Through Time – Celebrating Arizona’s Centennial Heritage!” classic vehicle exhibit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on  Saturday, Feb. 4.

The free event will feature more than 100 classic and antique cars, trucks, travel trailers, motorcycles and more dating from the early 1900s to 2012, including Model Ts, Packards and Corvettes. A Ford Model T and its modern day 2012 counterpart will be a Centennial highlight.

After enjoying the exhibit, car enthusiasts can enjoy world-class dining without ever leaving the park. Pizzeria Bianco, Nubuo at the Teeter House and the Rose & Crown all call the park home, using the site’s historic buildings to turn out renowned cuisine.

Heritage & Science Park, a facility of the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department, is located at Sixth and Monroe streets in downtown Phoenix. It’s within walking distance of light rail stations at Third and Washington streets  and Central/First avenues and Van Buren Street.

Information on the park is available online in the Parks link of the department website at phoenix.gov/parks or by calling 602 262-5071.

The park’s website also has links to the restaurants on site.
