Residents are invited to attend Councilwoman Thelda Williams’ District 1 community breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at Marie Callender’s Restaurant, 4930 W. Bell Road.

This month’s special guest is Roxanne Song Ong, chief presiding judge of Phoenix Municipal Court, who will highlight the role of city courts. In addition, Cmdr. Benny Pina will be present to address any public safety concerns of residents. To RSVP, call the District 1 Office at 602-262-7444.

Also, if you are a business owner within the boundaries of District 1, you’re encouraged to attend the District 1 and the city’s Community and Economic Development Department Business Roundtable breakfast. The event will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Deer Valley Restaurant inside the terminal building at the Deer Valley Airport, 702 W. Deer Valley Road.
