Phoenix Public Library is celebrating the Centennial from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Desert Broom Library at 29710 N. Cave Creek Rd.
This free event features special programs for kids including a storytime with Councilman Jim Waring at 1 p.m., rock painting at 1:15 p.m. and a presentation on Cave Creek history at 2 p.m. Branded Country is scheduled to perform and the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library will host a book fair.
