“The Phoenix Police Department held a news conference yesterday to inform the public about an internal investigation involving members of our city’s Police Department.  

As a first responder, I have witnessed many difficult events impacting the lives of people in our community.  The victims of crimes, accidents and other events are our friends and family members and should be treated with dignity and the utmost respect. 

The Police Department is completing its investigation and as a member of the City Council Public Safety, Veterans, Transparency and Ethics Subcommittee, I will be expecting appropriate action be taken and have expressed this to our city manager.”
