Movie Screening of “Shrek II” Follows Final Isaac Crime March
Councilman Tom Simplot will host a free, outdoor screening of the animated blockbuster “Shrek II” in the west Phoenix Isaac Neighborhood. “Shrek II” will be shown at approximately 7:45 p.m. Saturday, June 11. The viewing is at Falcon Park, 35th Avenue and Roosevelt Street.
“‘Shrek II’ is a great family film, fun for kids and adults,” said Simplot. “We hope Isaac residents come out for our march against crime, and then bring their kids to the park for a family night.”
The crime march is the third that the Councilman and members of Neighborhood Activists Inter-Linked Empowerment Movement (N.A.I.L.E.M.) have held in the area. Saturday’s march starts at 7 p.m. at Butler Elementary School, 3843 W. Roosevelt St.
