Vice Mayor Simplot Welcomes One Voice Community Center to Melrose District
Vice Mayor Tom Simplot will be celebrating the opening of the One Voice Community Center, 725 W. Indian School Road, at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11. Residents are welcome to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony with Simplot.
The One Voice Community Center serves as a cultural focal point uniting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals. It provides educational, social and wellness programs for the LGBT community and its allies.
“The One Voice Community Center is an important anchor for the LGBT community,” said Simplot. “I am thrilled to welcome them to their new home in the Melrose District.”
